Moments from My Journey
Behind every business lesson are the people, places and experiences that shaped it. Here are some of my favorite moments from my academic and professional journey so far.
Research took me to business schools and conferences across Europe.
Presenting research, meeting fellow academics and exchanging ideas at international conferences has been one of the most rewarding parts of my journey.

Every milestone was shared with people who believed in me.
My Ph.D. was a journey of research on innovation drivers in organizations, and I am grateful to the supervisors who guided me along the way.

Paris is such a busy business city.
Even as a business student, it was clear to me that Paris at the time was a powerful melting pot for Europe as a whole.

Dutch folk don’t play with time.
If you want to do business with the Dutch, you had better know this. I loved living in Rotterdam during my time as an exchange student at Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University. It is such a vibrant, energetic city, and I had to go back to visit recently. My travels also took me to Germany.

In Norway, I learned the value of bringing people together.
Getting involved with students and companies taught me how much can be achieved when like-minded people work toward a common goal.

NHH, Norway’s business school, is where it all started. I went back recently to the school that opened the doors to so many opportunities.

Project management took me all the way to India.
I worked as a Project Management Consultant at a Spanish-Indian company in Pune, India, and was able to visit several other states and cities. Mumbai was by far the greatest hustle and bustle I have experienced.

Today, I call Massachusetts home.
Getting updated on the latest business research was a truly rewarding experience. When the Academy of Management came to Boston, why wouldn’t I go? Today I am a mom of three and live in Massachusetts with my family.

Each of these moments shaped the way I work with entrepreneurs and organizations today. I look forward to sharing many more stories with you here.
